Job Description

Operate the detergent plant as per the instructions of the Production Executive, ensuring efficiency and product quality.
Guide casual labor and distribute work according to the production executive's work plan.
Responsible for arranging raw materials from the RM store to the Detergent Plant.
Collect and effectively utilize unspecific powder from the production area.
Maintain good housekeeping across all floors of the detergent plant.
Check all floors of the detergent plant for abnormalities and report any issues to the Production Executive.
Monitor and clean any spillages in the base powder belt, ensuring immediate use of spilled powder.
Adjust dampers for dust collection ducts on the first and second floors to ensure optimal performance.
Replace damaged cloths near feeding points to maintain equipment efficiency.
Check belt gearbox oil levels and perform necessary maintenance.
Perform tower cleaning ring operations as needed.
Regularly check all screws on the second floor to ensure proper functioning.
Monitor the crutcher feeding into the rotating filter and prevent slurry overflow.
Prevent powder spillage in packing conveyors and drum mixture outlets.
Collect unspecific powder and ensure it is sent for reprocessing immediately.
Clean rotating filters, perfume pump strainers, and magnetic filters at regular intervals.
Check the perfume level in the tank and instruct feeding of perfume as required, avoiding spillage and ensuring empty drums are returned to the warehouse.
Inform the Production Executive immediately if any abnormality occurs in the production process due to electrical or mechanical issues.
Ensure no unauthorized persons enter the detergent control room area.
Operate the plant within established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality.
Suggest ideas or actions to improve housekeeping and minimize off-spec powder generation.
Handover duties to the incoming operator before leaving the plant premises, ensuring smooth transitions.
Ensure the safety and security of company assets under your control.
Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time.
