Job Description

Surface Preparation:

Wash walls, repair holes, and remove old paint to prepare painting surfaces.
Fill cracks and holes using suitable materials (e.g., plaster).
Conduct on-site preparations such as building scaffolding and covering fixtures.

Painting Tasks:

Mix, match, and apply paints or other finishes to various surfaces.
Handle planning and prep work efficiently.
Apply paint or finish with precision and care.

Protective Measures:

Cover surrounding areas with cloth or plastic to prevent messes.
Move furniture and equipment as necessary to access the entire project area.
Remove fixtures (e.g., door knobs, light switch covers) before painting and replace them after completion.
Tape off necessary areas to maintain neatness.

Post-Project Activities:

Clean up supplies and ensure the area is left tidy.
Perform an informal daily housekeeping inspection of the area and address any hazards.
