Job Description

  • Maintain stock bid cards for all vehicles and promotional materials, ensuring records are updated accurately and on time.
  • Issue delivery notes for goods delivered to customers and ensure proper documentation is maintained for reference.
  • Receive goods from vendors and other units, verify the quantity and quality, and record them in the Goods Receipt Note (GRN).
  • Assist the Godown Keeper with weekly and monthly stock-taking, reconciling physical stock with system records.
  • Maintain proper arrangement of stock in the godown, ensuring easy accessibility, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Label and tag all items properly for identification and traceability.
  • Monitor stock levels and promptly report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to the reporting officer.
  • Ensure that perishable and sensitive items are stored under the correct conditions.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring items are handled safely to prevent damage.
  • Keep records of goods returned, exchanged, or damaged, and follow up on replacement or disposal procedures.
  • Coordinate with procurement and accounts departments for stock movements, invoices, and payment processing.
  • Support in the preparation of reports related to stock movement, consumption, and balances.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and security protocols within the godown.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the reporting officer to support operations.
