Job Description

Responsible for connecting and disconnecting the hose pipes at the port.
Carrying out internal oil transfers to the soap plant and refinery intermediate storage tanks from bulk storage.
Responsible for tank circulation and heating operations.
Transferring refined oil from finished product storage to the filling unit.
Taking daily dip readings of all storage tanks.
Filling out tank farm log sheets during oil transfers.
Responsible for managing and cleaning oil spillages during transfers.
Ensuring the safety and security of company assets under their control.
Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) during oil unloading from ships and oil transfers.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in the tank farm.
Reporting any electrical or mechanical issues with tank farm pumps to the shift in charge for immediate corrective action.
Collecting oil spillages near the pumps in the tank farm.
