Job Description

  • Ensure chemical solution preparation as per requirements.
  • Ensure chemical dosage is maintained as per requirements.
  • Ensure mineral-blended water meets the required chemical parameters.
  • Conduct chemical analysis of water at various levels as per the established frequency.
  • Maintain all required records.
  • Conduct external water testing as per the established frequency and ensure all parameters are within the specified limits. Initiate action plans if limits are exceeded.
  • Maintain GMP and housekeeping standards.
  • Regularly check and inspect all filters to ensure adequate filtration.
  • Maintain the filter cartridge replacement frequency as required.
  • Ensure zero production breakdown due to filtration issues.
  • Maintain proper water labels on raw water tanks.
  • Maintain stock ledger records for issued and received materials in the filtration area.
  • Prevent any leakages or contamination.
  • Ensure syrup preparation aligns with the production plan.
  • Ensure proper filtration and preparation of simple syrup.
  • Ensure ready syrup batches are prepared as per requirements.
  • Measure sugar, emulsion, and chemicals as per batch requirements.
  • Ensure the correct mixing sequence for emulsion, flavour, and chemicals.
  • Ensure effective UHT operation and maintain the required temperature.
  • Record the correct batch numbers and expiry dates in reports for traceability.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all syrup preparation reports, including CIP and UHT records.
  • Ensure effective CIP procedures and control of micro-contamination.
  • Maintain housekeeping, GMP, and hygiene standards.
  • Follow FIFO practices in the dispensing room.
  • Ensure sugar dumping is carried out for each batch as required.
  • Maintain sugar stock records at the end of each shift.
  • Conduct monthly stocktaking and calculate chemical consumption.
  • Maintain daily stock registers.
  • Ensure CIP chemical strength and temperature are maintained as per CIP procedures.
  • Restrict entry to authorized personnel only in the preparation area and dispensing room.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as required.
  • Ensure safety precautions during CIP chemical preparation, lifting, and dumping of sugar bags.
  • Verify chemical weights before mixing ready syrup batches.
  • Conduct CIP for all tanks as per the CIP matrix.
  • Ensure ready syrup analysis parameters meet the required standards.
  • Report any process or equipment malfunctions immediately.
  • Ensure chemical solution preparation as per requirements for ETP operations.
  • Ensure chemical dosage is maintained as per requirements.
  • Ensure ETP discharge water meets the required parameter limits.
  • Conduct chemical analysis of effluent at various levels as per the established frequency.
  • Maintain all required records.
  • Monitor ETP processes as per SOP and ensure all parameters are within limits. Initiate action plans if limits are exceeded.
  • Maintain GMP and housekeeping standards.
  • Regularly inspect pumps, blowers, filters, and clarifiers to ensure proper operation.
  • Maintain tank cleaning frequency as required.
  • Ensure zero production breakdown due to ETP issues.
  • Maintain stock ledger records for issued and received materials in the filtration area.
  • Prevent any leakages or contamination in the ETP system.
  • Allocate manpower as required for each area.
  • Monitor and approve duty hours and overtime.
  • Ensure effective handover and takeover during shift changes.
  • Maintain proper communication processes (verbal/register) for problems, solutions, and suggestions. Maintain an OB register daily.
  • Clean and sanitize all filtration storage tanks as per the established frequency.
  • Ensure effective cleaning and sanitation processes for preparation and UHT sections.
  • Conduct CIP on every flavour changeover and on a weekly basis.
  • Ensure personnel in production lines, beverage blending, blowing, capping, and cup manufacturing wear gloves, caps, and masks as applicable.
  • Handle chemicals and rework materials appropriately to avoid contamination.
  • Ensure adequate chlorine sprinkling on floors in affected areas to prevent contamination.
  • Ensure personnel use sanitizers before entering preparation areas.
  • Prepare and use chlorine solutions as agreed.
  • Prevent beverage spillage on floors.
  • Issue and consume emulsion and beverage blending chemicals on a FIFO basis.
  • Ensure that no expired raw materials are in stock or used in production.
  • Verify slow-moving or expired raw materials in the dispensing room and take necessary action.
  • Conduct daily physical stock verification of chemicals and emulsion.
  • Maintain material requisition and stock registers for chemicals and emulsion.
  • Report handling losses in monthly reports.
  • Maintain reordering status for all chemicals and emulsion to prevent production stoppages.
