Job Description

Understand the production plan and allocate manpower to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure the availability of all materials as per the production plan.
Strictly monitor and record the shift reporting times and break timings of operators and daily-paid workers.
Ensure safety for all activities taking place on the production floor.
Provide timely feedback to the Reporting Officer regarding machine maintenance, performance, and breakdowns.
Control the movement of manpower and allocate them to other tasks during machine idle time.
Ensure that the daily log sheet is duly filled out and maintained by the operators.
Ensure proper housekeeping in the work area.
Do not leave the machine or work area without handing over the charge. Obtain permission from the Reporting Officer before leaving.
Follow all instructions given by the Reporting Officer.
Ensure proper communication during the handover of responsibilities to the next shift.
Be aware of and understand the usage procedures of firefighting equipment.
Be flexible and accept changes in the location of responsibility as required based on operational needs.
