Job Description

Supervisory and Operational Duties:

Supervise sales routes and ensure all routes have updated and accurate route plans.
Maintain accurate and continuously updated customer data.
Ensure all routes are supplied with the correct volume and mix of saleable products daily, in alignment with the company’s must-stock list.
Guarantee that all outlets meet the company’s "Picture of Success" standards.

Performance Monitoring:

Conduct a minimum of two on-route “work-with” sessions per salesman monthly to provide guidance and evaluate performance.
Review daily service levels, sales volumes, and wastage metrics for each route, measuring performance against agreed route plans.
Investigate and address any non-compliance with company policies and standards.

Sales and Distribution Goals:

Achieve distribution targets in the supervisory area.
Deliver monthly sales volume and wastage targets.
Ensure the correct visibility and display of products in all outlets, adhering to company standards.

Financial and Inventory Accountability:

Oversee that salesmen reconcile van stocks and deposit cash daily.
Control wastage and ensure compliance with company standards for all routes and outlets.

Leadership and Development:

Provide leadership, training, and coaching to team members under direct supervision to foster professional growth and enhance performance.
