Job Description

Coordinate Transportation Requirements: Work with all transport officers/managers to determine transport needs and schedule the transportation of products to customers.
Assess Local Transportation Resources: Evaluate local transportation resources and infrastructure, and manage the contracting of transportation assets as needed.
Manage Vehicle Movement: Coordinate the movement of vehicles and other transportation assets efficiently.
Maintain Vehicle Documentation: Ensure all required documents are handed over to the driver of loaded trucks.
Develop Management Systems: Create or modify systems to manage the movement of vehicles and personnel effectively.
Produce Reports: Prepare daily reports on dispatched trucks.
Act as Liaison: Serve as the liaison between the transport and central sales unit to ensure the company’s vehicle fleet is utilized to its maximum capacity.
