Ensure a clear understanding of the machine’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). • Accurately prepare, fill, and maintain the daily log sheet. • Immediately inform the Reporting Officer of any machine breakdowns. • Operate the machine for all pack sizes and flavors. • Ensure machine settings comply with standard specifications. • Follow Good Housekeeping (GHK) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as per the machine’s SOP. • Complete maintenance schedules on time and in accordance with the assigned task list. • Ensure the safe custody of tools, machine components, and change parts. • Take responsibility for all machine parts and components during maintenance and idle periods. • Strictly adhere to shift reporting and break timings. • Do not leave the machine or work area without proper handover; obtain permission from the Reporting Officer before leaving. • Follow all instructions given by superiors. • Communicate promptly with the Reporting Supervisor regarding raw materials and machine consumables. • Perform changeovers as and when required. • Take responsibility for troubleshooting during breakdowns. • Ensure that utility requirements (air, chilled water, power) meet machine standards. • Verify that all machine and personnel safety interlocks are in place and functioning properly. • Be familiar with the correct usage procedures for fire extinguishers. • Accept reassignment of your work location as required by management. • Undertake any other duties assigned by management during the course of employment. • Adhere to the “Do’s and Don’ts” guidelines provided by the Reporting Officer. • Ensure daily cleaning and upkeep of the machine and surrounding area.
