Responsible for independently performing routine testing and analysis of raw materials, chemicals, and packaging materials in the oil, soap, refinery, and utility sections.
Maintain analysis reports as required by TBS.
Responsible for Vitamin A dosing in cooking oil and maintaining proper records.
Prepare standard solutions and calibrate weighing balances.
Prepare daily laboratory analysis reports and submit them to the concerned department heads.
Maintain the equipment and glassware stock register.
Maintain the chemicals stock register and provide prior intimation to the Plant In-charge for procurement.
Adhere to laboratory safety policies and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Distill used ethanol and collect distilled water.
Responsible for boiler water and fuel analysis.
Responsible for collecting and analyzing market samples every month.
Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area in the laboratory.
Suggest ideas and actions to improve product quality.
Responsible for the safety and security of company assets under his control.
Identify the need for changes and update test methods and procedures as required.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time.
