Job Description

Assist in conducting routine workplace safety inspections in production, warehouses, and other utility areas.
Conduct daily site inspections, intervene in unsafe acts, and ensure adherence to PPE and safety rules.
Support hazard identification and risk assessment processes (HIRA/JSA) to identify workplace hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
Monitor compliance with safe operating procedures (SOPs).
Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance across all production areas.
Participate in incident, near-miss, and accident investigations to determine root causes and implement preventive and control measures.
Support the maintenance and updating of HSE files to ensure the validity of certificates, permits, and licenses.
Assist in maintaining first aid readiness and emergency response equipment.
Support emergency drills such as fire drills, chemical spill response, and evacuation procedures.
Participate in the implementation of HSE policies and advise and support stakeholders to ensure full compliance with applicable regulations and a safe working environment for all employees.
Carry out any additional HSE tasks delegated by the Group HSE Manager or management.
Conduct or coordinate toolbox talks and ensure supervisors conduct them at the start of each shift or activity.
Maintain and update HSE files to ensure the validity of certificates, permits, and licenses.
Promote a culture of reporting unsafe acts and unsafe conditions in the workplace.
Support toolbox talks, safety awareness campaigns, and participate in behavioral safety initiatives.
