Job Description

Operate diesel generators in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Monitor generator performance, including fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, electrical load, and power output.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance, checking oil levels, filters, belts, battery condition, coolant levels, and other critical components.
Start, stop, and synchronize generators as needed to meet power demands.
Record daily operational logs, documenting running hours, load readings, and fuel consumption.
Maintain adequate fuel stock and request refueling in a timely manner.
Perform minor troubleshooting and escalate major faults to the maintenance team.
Keep the generator and surrounding area clean and safe at all times.
Adhere to safety standards and promptly report any incidents or irregularities.
