Job Description

Supervise daily maintenance and repair activities of the company’s fleet.
Plan, schedule, and allocate work to mechanics and technicians to ensure timely completion.
Monitor vehicle performance, diagnose faults, and ensure proper corrective actions are taken.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, fuel usage, and spare parts inventory.
Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules to minimize breakdowns.
Enforce compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards in the workshop.
Inspect vehicles after maintenance to ensure quality standards are met.
Provide technical guidance and support to mechanics and drivers.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for spare parts and external repair services.
Prepare and submit maintenance reports to the Fleet/Transport Manager.
Train and develop mechanics to improve technical skills and efficiency.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
