Job Description

  • Conduct on-site visits to residential and business addresses of loan applicants to verify personal and financial information provided in loan applications.
  • Prepare detailed field investigation reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations based on interviews, site visits, and document verification.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of report submissions, adhering to established reporting standards and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, including credit, underwriting, and collections teams, to share investigation findings, address inquiries, and support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements governing field investigations and credit underwriting processes.
  • Adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and privacy regulations in handling sensitive information and conducting investigations.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in field investigation techniques and tools.
  • Participate in training programs, workshops, and skill development activities to enhance investigative skills, knowledge of fraud detection, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Make and maintain contacts with leaders of targeted areas and community groups within those areas.
  • Assist the reporting officer in compiling monthly reports.
  • Support data collection from field sites routinely and on special requests.
  • Take photographs of clients' residences/workplaces, collect feedback surveys and testimonials, and submit them to the responsible departmental heads.
  • Collect accurate GPS data for the physical verification of the client’s address.
  • Coordinate with the control room operator for GPS alerts and take immediate action based on the seriousness of the situation at any given time.
  • Meet and confirm client details with the park chairman and neighbors.
  • Interview clients to gather necessary information for the loan application.
  • Ensure proper KYC has been followed and documented.
  • Advise customers on their payment options and suggest methods of payment.
  • Respond to customer queries.
  • Ensure that a Portfolio at Risk (PAR) of less than 5% is maintained.
  • Prepare weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly reports.
  • Provide support on repossession and legal actions; coordinate and provide field support in the event of default or when special attention is required.
  • Proactively sell Mo Finance's products to new/prospective customers.
  • Obtain relevant documents on all Mo Finance products sold, e.g., identity documents, area leader letters, business registration documents (if it's a business), etc.
  • Ensure timely processing of all initiated customer transactions, specifically emphasizing loan issuance.
