Job Description

  • Monitor new GPS installations and device replacements, ensuring daily updates are posted into the system.
  • Verify the proper functioning of all new devices and coordinate with vendors or the technical team as necessary.
  • Generate and submit daily reports on GPS installations, device checks, and replacements.
  • Continuously monitor alerts and non-responsive devices, coordinating with vendors or the field recovery team as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to rectify issues and perform root cause analyses for non-responsive GPS units and actionable alerts.
  • Immobilize vehicles when required, following superior directives or standard operating procedures, provided immobilizers are installed.
  • Provide assistance to technicians, supervisors, and unit heads as needed.
  • Support field coordinators in allocating technicians to ensure smooth operations.
  • Demonstrate proactivity and flexibility in managing multiple tasks and adapting to various roles.
  • Accompany technicians, GPS service providers, or recovery teams to the field when necessary.
  • Conduct periodic visits to plants and vendors to ensure compliance and offer guidance on GPS-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate records of all GPS devices and relay equipment, documenting both incoming and outgoing items.
  • Publish weekly reports detailing inventory status.
  • Keep toolkits organized and maintain precise inventory records of all equipment and accessories.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all GPS-related activities and submit logs to the assigned supervisor.
  • Establish geo-fences for all vehicles, ensuring that alerts and critical issues are promptly reported to management.
  • Prepare daily offline device reports for morning and evening sessions, coordinating efforts to bring GPS units back online.
  • Respond to inquiries from customers and agents regarding GPS services.
  • Organize service or replacement of trackers for bikes with malfunctioning devices.
  • Notify customers and supervisors immediately upon detecting any tampering with devices.
  • Install GPS tracking devices in vehicles as required, ensuring they function correctly.
  • Conduct regular checkups and troubleshoot devices that are not transmitting data to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist the tracking team in performing root cause analyses of technical issues related to GPS devices.
  • Collect configured GPS devices, SIM cards, and necessary accessories from the office prior to installations.
  • Complete job cards with required details, obtain necessary signatures for installations and checkups, and submit them accordingly.
  • Communicate new installations and checkup details to the control room and technical team to keep everyone updated.
  • Provide installation updates to tracking supervisors and unit heads for better coordination.
  • Deliver the highest level of professional service to company clients while maintaining strict confidentiality regarding tracker installations and services.
