Job Description

  • Conduct on-site visits to the residential and business addresses of loan applicants to verify the personal and financial information provided in loan applications.
  • Prepare detailed field investigation reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations based on interviews, site visits, and document verification.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of reports in accordance with established reporting standards and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, including credit, underwriting, and collections teams, to share investigation findings and support decision-making processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to field investigations and credit underwriting processes.
  • Adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality requirements, and privacy regulations when handling sensitive information and conducting investigations.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to field investigation techniques and tools.
  • Participate in training programs, workshops, and skill development activities to enhance investigative skills, fraud detection knowledge, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local leaders and community groups in targeted areas.
  • Assist the reporting officer in compiling monthly reports.
  • Support routine and special data collection activities from field sites.
  • Take photographs of clients’ residences or workplaces, collect feedback surveys and testimonials, and submit them to the relevant departmental heads.
  • Collect accurate GPS data to verify the physical address of clients.
  • Coordinate with the control room operator regarding GPS alerts and take immediate action based on the seriousness of the situation.
  • Meet and confirm client details with local leaders (e.g., park chairman) and neighbors.
  • Interview clients to obtain the necessary information for loan applications.
  • Ensure proper KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures are followed and documented.
  • Advise customers on available payment options and recommend suitable methods of payment.
  • Respond promptly to customer queries and concerns.
  • Maintain a Portfolio at Risk (PAR) level of less than 5%.
  • Prepare weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly reports.
  • Provide support for repossession and legal actions by coordinating and offering field support in cases of default or accounts requiring special attention.
  • Proactively promote and sell MO Finance products to new and prospective customers.
  • Obtain and verify all relevant documents for MO Finance products sold, such as identity documents, area leader letters, and business registration documents (for business clients).
  • Ensure timely processing of all customer transactions initiated, with particular emphasis on loan issuance.
