Job Description

  • Conduct on-site visits to residential and business addresses of loan applicants to verify the personal and financial information provided in loan applications.
    • Prepare detailed field investigation reports documenting findings, observations, and recommendations based on interviews, site visits, and document verification.
    • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of reports in line with established standards and guidelines.
    • Coordinate with internal departments—such as credit, underwriting, and collections—to share investigation findings, address inquiries, and support decision-making processes.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements governing field investigations and credit underwriting.
    • Adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality rules, and privacy regulations while handling sensitive information and conducting investigations.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in field investigation techniques and tools.
    • Participate in training programs, workshops, and skill-development activities to enhance investigative skills, fraud detection techniques, and risk-mitigation strategies.
    • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders and area representatives within target locations.
    • Assist the reporting officer in compiling monthly reports.
    • Support routine and ad hoc data collection from field sites.
    • Take photographs of clients’ residences or workplaces, collect feedback surveys and testimonials, and submit them to the relevant departmental heads.
    • Collect accurate GPS data for physical verification of client addresses.
    • Coordinate with the control room operator regarding GPS alerts and take immediate action based on the seriousness of the situation.
    • Meet and confirm client details with park chairpersons and neighbours.
    • Interview clients to gather necessary information for loan applications.
    • Ensure proper KYC procedures are followed and documented.
    • Advise customers on payment options and recommend suitable methods of payment.
    • Respond to customer queries professionally and promptly.
    • Maintain a Portfolio at Risk (PAR) of less than 5%.
    • Prepare weekly, bi-monthly, and monthly reports.
    • Provide support on repossession and legal actions, coordinating and offering field assistance in cases of default or special attention.
    • Proactively sell MO Finance products to new and prospective customers.
    • Obtain all relevant documents for MO Finance products sold (e.g., identity documents, area leader letters, business registration documents where applicable).
    • Ensure timely processing of all initiated customer transactions, with a particular focus on loan issuance.
