Job Description

Operations & Procedures

• Operate the blowing machine for all pack sizes and flavours.
• Configure machine settings in line with established standards.
• Thoroughly understand and strictly follow the machine’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Accurately complete and maintain the daily log sheet.
• Carry out machine changeovers as required.

 Maintenance & Safety

• Perform Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Maintenance Schedules under the guidance of the Supervisor/Engineer.
• Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed on time in accordance with the given task list.
• Verify that machine safety systems and personnel safety interlocks are functional and in place.
• Troubleshoot problems during machine breakdowns and escalate as necessary.
• Ensure utility requirements (air, chilled water, power) meet machine standards.
• Maintain daily cleanliness of the machine and its surrounding area.
• Understand the correct usage procedures for fire extinguishers.

 Communication & Compliance

• Immediately report any machine breakdowns, performance issues, or maintenance needs to the Reporting Officer.
• Ensure proper communication and documentation during shift handovers.
• Communicate timely requirements for machine raw materials and consumables to the Reporting Supervisor.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) in line with machine SOPs.
• Strictly observe shift reporting times and designated break timings.
• Do not leave the machine or work area without handing over responsibility and obtaining permission from the Reporting Officer.
• Follow all instructions provided by superiors and comply with the guidelines of the Reporting Officer.

 General

• Safeguard tools, machine components, and change parts at all times.
• Take responsibility for all machine parts and components during mould changes, maintenance, and idle periods.
• Accept reassignment or relocation of responsibilities as required.

• Word Processing and Desktop Publishing Tools (MS Office, Google Docs, etc)
