Job Description

 

  • Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
  • Supervise the unloading of chemicals and engineering store items.
  • Record and report any discrepancies in material receipts to the concerned department.
  • Issue mechanical accessories against authorized store vouchers.
  • Arrange proper stocking of materials and keep materials in appropriate bins.
  • Responsible for the safety and security of company assets under control.
  • Maintain the engineering store area in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Conduct monthly verification of stocks in the store.
  • Verify all received materials with the incharge against purchase invoices.
  • Plan manpower for the unloading of chemicals and engineering items.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the management from time to time.
  • Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) for all store receipts.
  • Maintain material bin cards for store materials and diesel.
  • Enter GRN and issue entries into the store software.
  • Take daily backups of the store software.
  • Perform physical verification of stocks and reconcile with book stocks monthly.
  • Verify purchase prices with previous prices.
  • Prepare monthly closing stock reports.
  • Issue store items in the absence of storekeepers.
  • Maintain GRN, MRN, and gate pass books.
